This episode comes from the youtube stream on November 30 2023. I was sick for this episode, and I think the first song is an expression of some of the brain fog with feeling a bit under the weather. There’s a frenetic murkiness to the first piece that fits the overall theme. The second piece takes a little while to get going, but when it comes together, it’s a bit brighter, but in a spacier kind of way. The piece develops like distant rays of sun shine visible on the horizon past the cloud cover, bringing back a memory of sunnier days. The third piece has an interesting rhythm and almost gets somewhere, but there are a couple of missteps along the way. The last piece develops slowly, and takes on an eery spaced out kind of tone, like the sound of wandering through an alien landscape.
