Things start off nice and airy and ambient in this stream from October 12 2023, with some nice motifs throughout. The second piece has a much darker industrial feel to it, right from the get go, growing into a more sweeping cinematic theme when the arco parts get built up. I like a lot of the moments in the third piece, and feel that the beat itself and arpeggio have a lot of potential. Listening back I hear a different theme I could’ve played arco, but then realize upon continued listening that I took a second attempt and eventually arrived at the very theme I was hearing, or I guess remembering, so I’m glad of that! Things get off to a quicker pace in the 4th piece, and it has some nice running qualities with forward movement. The final piece is a nice plodding exploration of new sounds and soundscapes.
