Episode 42 Running Errands
This episode comes from the Twitch stream on September 9 2023. Things start off slowly, with a repetitive bowed lick that eventually morphs into something more complex with more movement. This first piece is another example of not quite being sure if I’ll pull it out but finding something interesting by sticking with it. The second piece has a very cool groove to it, and I really enjoy the rhythm of the chords here. The third piece almost ventures into My Girl territory for a moment, before settling into a nice bass line, that perhaps goes on a bit long. Things start to groove in the fourth piece with some nice swirling bowed layers. The fifth piece is starts as an ambient reset but then congeals into something a bit more cohesive. The final piece evolves into a fun spacey hoedown type of piece.
