This podcast comes from the twitch stream on August 31, 2023. Things get off to a jaunty start, with a bowed loop setting the tone for things. The next piece is a bit spacier and more methodical sounding. The third piece is my favorite from the stream, and one of those that seems to produce different shapes from the ether with some nice twists and turns along the way. The middle sparse self sampling parts of this piece remind me a bit of Air’s Alone in Kyoto. The fourth piece is lighter and more optimistic sounding with its more hopeful bounciness. The fifth piece pays some reference to the M83 song I once covered, but with a bit of a different baseline. The final piece is New Groove from Sushi Tapes Vol 1.
